My Repair & Advice:
Unplug the washer..Remove the cover from below the washer door, bolts are located on the bottom of the cover, there's three bolts, unscrew to the left and remove cover. to the right. You will see the drain assembly, in order to remove unplug the small plug that's plugged in to the top Rear u can't miss it, now there's two pumps located on the other side of the pump clamp together and remove both hoses, on the bottom of the washer there are two bolts holding the drain assembly in place, unscrew and remove the entire drain assembly, twist of the yellowish plastic that looks like it has a motor in it, once that's off pull it apart and check the magnent inside if its damaged it needs to be replace, look up the partsdr they have great pricing and delivery fast, I know how important it is to have a working washer and so do they. To instal just place back where you removed it, and screw the two screws to the bottom of the washer to secure the drain assembly, plug back in and replace pumps to its place.Done

My Repair & Advice:
First remove any water in the tub. If your washer is on the floor, place a couple thick items under the legs so you can remove the bottom panel easier. Take a driver and remove the THREE hex screws on the bottom panel- then drop the panel down and remove. At this point, you should get something under the main valve facing you, turn it counter-clockwise slowly, and drain the rest of the water out of the washer tub before continuing. ( The valve turns kinda hard). Underneath the washer are TWO hex screws holding the pump in place. Remove them. Take a pliers and pinch the clamp on the main drain rubber hose that goes into the pump ( the black one ). The smaller hose going into the pump just pulls off. The pump can now be removed by sliding it a little toward the right side, rubber grommets hold it into place. Put the new pump in by doing the reverse of what you just did.

My Repair & Advice:
Kenmore HE2 Washer repeatedly stopped draining and displayed either f21 or f33 despite the drain being clear. Pulled out the pump assembly and discovered that the impeller was broken and almost entirely nonfunctional. Ordered the part from PartsDr for far less than retail and received it within a few days. Part was in within 15 minutes of arrival and we have not had a drain failure since. Thanks PartsDr!

My Repair & Advice:
There are two screws that come up from the bottom to attach the pump. I was able to undo these with a wrench without tipping the washer over. The secret is to unscrew each a little at a time so the pump can be lifted and the long screws can still be gotten out.

My Repair & Advice:
My drive motor is weak, the bad water pump was leaving too much water in the drum causing the weak motor to draw too many amps because of the extra weight of the water, resulting in the F-28 code. I will be ordering a new drive motor and belt from PartsDr.com next month. Running light loads without any issue for now. This is an easy repair with front panel access, don't hesitate to try this replacement.
