My problem
Bake Element was burned out and needed replacement.

My Repair & Advice:

Shut off power.  Remove oven racks. Remove two 1/4 inch screws at back of oven holding the bake element into place. Carefully pull bake element out of back of oven. Unplug wires from bake element being very careful not to allow wires to pull back into the opening in back of the oven. Install new element using the reverse order. Worked like a charm.

My problem
Bake heat element (lower one) was burnt out

My Repair & Advice:

If your bake function doesn't work but the broil still does then your bake heat element is probably bad. Just make sure the bake switch is off, loosen 2 screws holding the element in place, pull the element out a little bit to expose the wire connectors, unplug connectors and put new element in place, plug in and screw it back in place. Parts Dr rocks!

Bake element stopped working.

My Repair & Advice:

Very easy replacement, it took less than 15 minutes. Make sure to unplug the power cord. Remove the 2 hex screws from inside the oven where the element connects and pull the wires out gently making sure to hold them from sliding back. Connect the wires to the new element and put screws back and done. The price of this element was a fraction of what it sells for somewhere else. I would highly recommend partsdr.

My problem
The oven stopped working. The broiler element still heated and the stove top worked but the "Bake" element was not heating.

My Repair & Advice:

This was a super easy replacement. Two screws and two wires. When I first removed it, before ordering the replacement, I used a multi-meter to check continuity and there was none which indicated the element was bad. I ordered from Parts Dr. and it arrived quickly and in good condition. Been baking ever since. Great experience and it hearkens back to what you used to expect from American business. Very happy and will do business with Parts Dr. again if the need arises.

Burned out bake element

My Repair & Advice:

Turn off power to oven. remove screws from each side and pull element out slowly as not to pull wire loose. remove wires from old element and bend so they do not go back into oven wall. secure wires to new element and push back into oven. Replace srews and turn power back on.
