My Repair & Advice:
No matter what temperature setting we set the refrigerator to, the refrigerator kept freezing things. I took the old air damper out and found the damper door was broken so the refrigerator could no longer control the cold air entering the refrigerator. Replacing the air damper assembly was pretty easy. I unplugged the refrigerator, removed the top shelves, removed the top light cover and the screws behind that, and the bottom part of the air damper just snaps into place. Take out the old one and put the new one back in. Now my refrigerator is cooling like it is supposed to again! And I saved alot of money doing the repair myself!

My Repair & Advice:
Easy fix to problem of freezing foods in main compartment and temperature seeming not to adjust. There is a door internal to this component that lets in cold air from the freezer compartment. It is common to break and leave the passage way open at all times. This part fixes it very easily. The hardest part is to empty the refrigerator.. Time about 45 minutes to emtpy, take off old parts and put on new parts...
