My problem
Washer was not heating effectively, it would heat momentarily and then cool off, never coming close to drying the clothing.

My Repair & Advice:

Even after replacing all these items, i still had exactly the same problem, the element would heat momentarily then shut off and never stay hot. I researched further and discovered that the thermistor was the culprit, and although the ohms metered out the same on the new and the old, i put the new one in anyway and it immediately fixed the problem. 20.00 part and pretty frustrating because of the process of elimination! So if you are experiencing this problem, make sure to check the thermistor. It is located on the exhaust housing near the blower fan and is quite easy to swap out. Thanks

My problem
heater coil stopped working, after testing found out it was the thermal fuse.

My Repair & Advice:

Pretty basic repair, thanks. Parts came quick and heater coil nice and hot. PS. Don't forget to clean a dryer thoroughly at least once a year. Helps efficiency and avoids a fire hazard.
