My problem
All lights on front panel flashing and ice door opening and closing. Water and ice dispensor not working.

My Repair & Advice:

Unplug refrigerator and remove top left metal panel (4 screws). Remove clear plastic cover.Unplug the 4 wiring harnesses (top left, top right, bottom left and bottom right). To remove the Control Board, push back 2 plastic tabs and slide it out to the left. Slide in the new control board and press the plastic tabs to hold it in. Then replace the plastic and metal covers the replace the 4 screws. Plug the frig back in and you should see PEO OOO in the front display. Now all you have to do is program in the code number that is printed on the serial plate (top right inside your frig.)Mine was 0302. To input the code, just follow the simple directions that come with the control board and your frig. should be back to normal. Good Luck.

My problem
Mother board burned out after a power surge, and the compressor would run until it overheated.

My Repair & Advice:

This was very simple to replace. My husband was away when the part came in, and I removed the old part and installed the new part with no issues and no assistance. First, unplug your refrigerator!! Use the socket head to remove the outer plate, and the flathead to pop off the plastic covering underneath. There are two plastic prongs, one at the top and one at the bottom, of the circuit board. Gently pull them away from the board and it will pop out. Pay attention to the board so that you put the new one in right side up. Unplug the attached wires, and the old board is out! Be careful not to touch the back of the new circuit board. Carefully place it in the space where the old one was, and in the same position. Slide it into the notch on the right first, then push firmly, but gently on the board to snap it into place. Do not bend any of the protruding pieces! Once it is in place, plug the cords into the appropriate places, then replace the plastic covering, followed by the metal covering. Follow the included instructions to reset your digital code, and your fridge will turn on and begin to cool!
